Kimbo Slice Got KTFO’d aka An Epic Fail. He’ll be back.

Kimbo Slice was supposed to fight Ken Shamrock, but ended up getting knocked out by Seth Petruzelli.

Within 14 seconds of the first round, Petruzelli landed a short right jab after a pair of kicks. That jab dropped Slice.

Petruzelli then rained blows on Slice until the referee stopped the fight a mere 14 seconds after the bell rang. Kimbo appeared to fight the referee prior to realizing the fight was actually stopped.

EliteXC’s planned for Ken Shamrock to battle Kimbo Slice, but Shamrock pulled out of the fight due to an injury. Petruzelli was quickly replaced as the new opponent for Slice in the event that was televised nationally on CBS

Petruzelli, who weighted in almost 30 pounds under Slice, admitted to the odd circumstances that lead to his victory.

“It was a crappy situation for us both. Both out brains were messed up for the fight. He didn’t train for me, I didn’t train for him,” Petruzelli admitted. “It was a way for me to get my name out there.”

Petruzelli was already cleared to fight in as he was originally in the under card.

Slice conducted a quick post-fight interview, but quickly exited the ringing ignoring the commentator.

The Miami boxer said, “It’s all good. I want to thank this man for taking this fight on short notice. It was unexpected. We still gonna have the after party at [a local Miami venue].”

Petruzelli improves his MMA record to 10-4 and Kimbo Slice’s professional record sinks to 3-1.
